Parkinson's disease is a disease of the central nervous system degeneration,progressive disorder that causes the nerve cells in the brain which affect movement of its victims. Parkinson's attacks the nerve cells in the part of the brain called the substantia nigra, which is part of the brain that control movement. These nerve cellswill eventually die because of damaged or lost the ability to produce dopamine.

Parkinson's develops slowly and the symptoms usually not so clear initially. The most common symptoms are tremor (shaking) on the one hand suddenly. Other symptomsthat happen pretty much is the stiffness of the muscles or one of the parts of the bodysuch as the arms, neck, or shoulders.

In the initial stages of Parkinson's disease, the patient is likely to have no facialexpressions, no hand or swinging when it is running. Parkinson's symptoms willdeteriorate over time.

Though not curable, the medicines needed to ease/relieve the symptoms of Parkinson's disease so that the sufferer could still be active.

Signs and symptoms of Parkinson's
Parkinson signs may be different on everyone. The symptoms may be very mild andwas initially unconscious. More often, symptoms only occur on one side of the body,and will continue to deteriorate in that side.

Signs and symptoms of Parkinson's could happen include:

Tremor
Hand shaking suddenly is one example. However it can also occur in the arms, legs, jaw, and Chin. These symptoms often appear when the body parts are being relaxedor not moving.

Stiff muscles
Stiffness in muscles can occur on any part of the body. These symptoms causemovement becomes limited, even causing the pain.

Often also called bradykinesia. Over time, Parkinson will interfere with the ability ofpatients to move around or slow down the movement. These symptoms make simplemovement becomes difficult to do and takes up more time.

Impaired balance and posture
Parkinson's disease can cause a disruption in the body's balance and posture, for example when running the body will falter. The body can be crippled, or bent at theelbows, knees, and hips.

Loss of spontaneous movement and automatic movement
Parkinson's can interfere with the ability to move spontaneously or caused a decreasein movements which are normally automatically done by the body, such as blinking,swallowing, shake his hand when running, and also the body gestures when talking.This symptom may occur slowly.

Decrease in other motor motion
Some other motor disorders could be caused by Parkinsons disease is a decrease inthe ability to talk, for example, become slower, flat intonation, and without expression.In addition, Parkinson's can also lead to difficulties when writing.

The drugs will greatly help to alleviate the symptoms above. Parkinson's drugs will increase – or instead of – dopamine.
